3. How to take Morphine oral solution

If you are switching from other types of morphine sulfate 20 mg ml medicines, your doctor may need to change your dose.

This medication is for morphine sulfate 20 mg ml dose oral use

Adults: The recommended dose is one or two 5ml scoops (10-20mg) every 4 hours

Elderly and infirm patients: a reduced dose is recommended oral morphine dosage drug interactions.

Children: 13 to 18 years old: The recommended dose is 1/2 or 2 scoops of 5 ml (5-20 mg) every 4 hours

6 to 12 years: The recommended dose is half a teaspoon or a 5 ml (5-10 mg) teaspoon every 4 hours

1 to 5 years: the recommended dose is half a 5 ml (5 mg) teaspoonful every 4 hours

Under 1 year: not recommended oral morphine dosage
